A Radiant Life

Starting out from a desire to re-explore the docu-fiction genre, I created an experimental fiction with source material composed of historical archives, an original script and a mise-en-scène which took shape during several months of research. My film deals with the first inhabitants of Marseille's Radiant City in 1952 through a "model" couple. The couple are a pretext to return to the unresolved between 1953 and 2013, a certain idea of progress, failure and reconstruction. (Meryll Hardt)
