Everyday Daylight

Everyday Daylight is a live ingame lecture performance in the game GTA V. It’s an art walk/tour showcasing notable works realized by various artists within the game world of GTA V. 3 performers/lecturers play the game live in front of an audience, while both the live game footage as well as snippets from the showcased art are projected on a single screen behind them.

The pseudo-marxist media guerilla Total Refusal explores and practices strategies for artistic intervention in contemporary video games. It works with tools of appropriation and rededication of game resources. Their award-winning films and performances were presented among others at Berlinale, Locarno and at the MoMA in NYC. The current members of Total Refusal are Susanna Flock, Adrian Jonas Haim, Jona Kleinlein, Robin Klengel, Leonhard Müllner and Michael Stumpf.
