First Gasp is like an ant nest with its distorted voices and automated movements constrained by the space barriers, where organisms mimic the colors of their environment. The atmosphere of suspense created by the sound and the static eye of the camera suggests the presence of a hidden viewer. Is this viewer the space around us? Human reality captured by the frozen eye seems like a dream. Until the camera moves and reveals the space as the subject of the story.
