Green Out

Green Out is like a journey through artificial tropical microcosms: a man loses himself in a huge aquatic complex, Tropical Islands, set in a former Soviet military base near Berlin. A group of tourists get lost in the green screen of a film set. A botanist tells the story of the discovery of tropical orchids and how men exported them to Europe. And the soundtrack of the jungle is digitally generated... The film takes us to the vegetal kingdom of the artifice, certainly a sign of contemporary melancholy.
