Part of the series called Intervention. Intervention is a collection made for the purpose of exploration. Five men are told by the director to look into the camera with a fixed gaze, and are then subjected to something provocative that happens outside the picture. Their emotional responses are recorded with a scientific, and somewhat sadistic, interest. The film's theme is the male mind in connection with the creation of a film document, which reflects the filmmaker's existence, thereby proving it. (Friedl Kubelka)
