Mirror
Luka Bezić Zrcalo, HR, 1987, 8'Format: 8mm to HD video
The film Mirror was meant as a reinterpretation of shots already seen and made by his clubmates. The shots were given a new context, thus creating new content. The “stolen” shots were cut and not edited, according to preset structuralist parameters determining the position and length of each part of the shot, hence creating new relations in a known image. The soundtrack for such form of experiment was again something interesting “taken” from others – at that time Stanley Kubrick’s Barry Lyndon. The entire film forms a series of repetitions in various variations and lengths.
