Oio examines a frame of mind after constant whirling. With a 16mm Bolex camera I made a sort of a whirling performance in the city of Ogulin. Liberating whirling led me to the result of the film. As with the Dervishes, rotating movements served for the achievement of a peaceful and meditative mind. Although this happens with a film in a merely mechanical way, this peaceful space for growth and creation can be found between the two spools, in the place where moving image arise, where the connection between a man and film technique can be found.
