The Holy Mountain

The Holy Mountain is Jodorowsky's famous artistic elaborate of the occult. His most visually extravagant film is flooded with grotesque, mysticism and sacrilegious imagery, giving the audience an astonishing expression of a psychedelic allegory. A Bearded thief (Horácio Salinas) wanders into a town populated by freaks and encounters an alchemist (Alejandro Jodorowsky). He introduces him to seven individuals, divesting themselves of their worldly goods and all start a journey to The Holy Mountain and immortality.
