His most visually extravagant film is flooded with grotesque, mysticism and sacrilegious imagery, giving the audience an astonishing expression of a psychedelic allegory. A Bearded thief (Horácio Salinas) wanders into a town populated by freaks and encounters an alchemist (Alejandro Jodorowsky). He introduces him to seven individuals, divesting themselves of their worldly goods and all start a journey to The Holy Mountain and immortality.
