Encouraged by Archivio Aperto’s invitation to take part in Carte Blanche, the 25 FPS team has curated a selection of films shown during its two decades, strongly reflecting upon the nature of images in contemporary culture. The program will be presented and shown on Sunday, October 27.
Here are the laureates of the round edition of our Festival.
On the final day of the festival, we're screening the “best of” program, the Grand Prix, Critics Award and Audience Award winners, and we are enjoying the expanded cinema performance with Jan Kulka.
The fourth festival day brings a round table discussion on the topics of ecology and self-sustainability of film labs, the final two competition blocks: 'Nightmares and Dreamscapes' & 'Periphery of a Common', and a performance by Total Refusal that takes place within the spaces of a video game.
Today's program offers two competition blocks, 'Remnants and Keepsakes' and 'Dark Light', a retrospective by the jury member Eve Heller, and a specially curated program by the French-Australian filmologist Charlie Hewison, part of the festival's Analogue Film in the Digital Age Symposium.
