The fourth festival day brings a round table discussion on the topics of ecology and self-sustainability of film labs, the final two competition blocks: 'Nightmares and Dreamscapes' & 'Periphery of a Common', and a performance by Total Refusal that takes place within the spaces of a video game.
 

Today's program offers two competition blocks, 'Remnants and Keepsakes' and 'Dark Light', a retrospective by the jury member Eve Heller, and a specially curated program by the French-Australian filmologist Charlie Hewison, part of the festival's Analogue Film in the Digital Age Symposium.

The second day of the 20th 25 FPS Festival brings a “(prezent) noir” competition block, a retrospective program by the director and this year’s symposium guest Esther Urlus, a selection by the jury member and director Tomislav Šoban, as well as a new film by Ben Rivers, Bogancloch. The experimental director Jan Kulka’s workshop also kicks off today.

The jubilee edition of the 25 FPS International Experimental Film and Video Festival opens officially today with the screening of Croatian experimental films and the first competition program, dedicated to imagining a completely different reality.

The 20th edition of the 25 FPS Festival brings two special, yet very different performances as part of its Expanded Cinema program section. We are also very excited to welcome Ben Rivers and his new film Bogancloch at our Festival.
 

The third Analogue Film in a Digital Age Symposium will take place during the 20th edition of the 25 FPS Festival, under the topic of ecology and self-sustainability of independent film labs, photochemical practices, and wider practices in the experimental cinema.
