THYLA weaves together Super 8 footage of the floodplain landscape, IUCN color codes, and images of the last thylacine into an open reflection on observation, disappearance, and transformation. The work refers to increasing species extinction and the associated comprehensive ecological changes, while its multi-layered materials invite freely combined interpretations and associations.
