Closing the Festival with Best 2024 and Expanded Cinema

On the final day of the festival, we're screening the “best of” program, the Grand Prix, Critics Award and Audience Award winners, and we are enjoying the expanded cinema performance with Jan Kulka.

The four intense Festival days are now behind us, so that is why we are spending our last day with 'only' two programs. Who exactly gets the Grand prizes by our Grand Jury, i.e. Eve Heller, Tomislav Šoban, Varja Močnik, will be announced at 7 p.m. There are also Critics' Jury Award, Audience Award and Green DCP award for the best Croatian film in the program. The winning films will be screened afterwards.

At 9.30 p.m., the experimental filmmaker Jan Kulka will close the festival program with his live projection Patterns. Using an Archeoscope, a special analog projector designed for a film understood as an „articulation of light“, Kulka will show a handmade film that was created by printing on a 60 mm film base. Experience the cinematic potential of patterns stuck in repetition.
