25 FPS Festival is organised in compliance with the guidelines issued by the Croatian Institute of Public Health to ensure the highest possible safety of the festival audience. Accordingly, we have implemented a number of measures ensuring the event is held in correspondence with the current epidemiological situation.

Jury’s Choice, the traditional section of the 25 FPS Festival, includes specially curated programmes of the Grand Jury members with the aim of presenting their aesthetic and thematic preoccupations in the field of art and experimental film to the local audience.

Expanded Cinema performance programme marked by the festival’s vertiginous visit by Vector Hack and a trancelike performance by the Dutch audiovisual duo Lichun Tseng and Robert Kroos.

The Croatian film section, Reflexes, features six experimental works exploring different forms of personal and social frictions.

The competition programme of the 25 FPS Festival of Experimental Film and Video, whose seventeenth edition will be held from September 23 to 26 in Zagreb, at the Student Centre, brings 27 innovative works from different parts of the world, three of which from Croatia, whose forms and motifs radically redraw, re-examine and cross the established boundaries of the audiovisual medium, at the same time reflecting the critical state of society.
