Álvarez uses found footage to link Ho-Chí-Minh’s work to worldwide political movements, including the Cuban revolution and resistance within the USA to the Vietnam War.Through the story of Ho Chi Minh's life as a poet, fighter, and statesman, this film reflects on the Vietnamese people's struggle against the various aggressors that have attempted to conquer their country.
