Alessandro de' Medici makes a passionate appeal to rally the good people of Florence. Rhinoceros resembles a televised broadcast in the last days of Muammar Gaddafi. The film will eventually be incorporated into a feature-length work examining the parallel worlds of politics and performance in 16th century Italy and 20th century Hollywood, through the personages of de’ Medici, and African American actress Gail Fisher.
