Study for a Battle

The film was inspired by late medieval sketches of falling horses and studies of spectacular battle scenes. The historical pastel colours are based on the medieval "epiphanie medicorum", a urine colour wheel used for medical diagnoses. A special printing technique makes the film images look hand-drawn.
