Live 16 mm projector performances in the series PIE PELLICANE JESU DOMINAE

AND AFTER SEVERAL RAPID STROKES OF THEIR WINGS / 2009 / 35'
3 projectors. Two threaded with loops consisting of a 1 foot - 35 frame pelican shot looped and bi-packed with patterned emulsion/base loops (one frame base to five frames emulsion). The third projector is threaded with the patterned emulsion loop only. Optical sound from the bird and emulsion loops are processed live with guitar effects pedals.

HOLD ON - TAKE ONE (PROVISIONAL TITLE) / 2010 / 20'
3 projectors embraced with six foot loops each spaced with one frame base (nominally clear) to 199 frames of emulsion (nominally black). Optical sound from the film loops is processed emphasizing the hold feature of the delay pedal enabling the recording and replay of a sound loop 5.2 seconds long.
