Day two of the festival will be marked by a specially curated programme by the jury member Pia Borg, two competition slots and a trancelike audiovisual performance by the Dutch duo Lichun Tseng and Robert Kross.

This year’s festival edition opens with the new film by the master of Austrian avant-garde Peter Tscherkassky, the award-winning documentary by Antoine Chapon and Croatian author Jelena Blagović’s debut film.

Kino 23 is 25 FPS Festival’s special section dedicated to feature and medium-length films which are not necessarily experimental, but exude an experimental, groundbreaking spirit in terms of approaching the narrative, film language or vision of the world.

25 FPS Festival is organised in compliance with the guidelines issued by the Croatian Institute of Public Health to ensure the highest possible safety of the festival audience. Accordingly, we have implemented a number of measures ensuring the event is held in correspondence with the current epidemiological situation.

Jury’s Choice, the traditional section of the 25 FPS Festival, includes specially curated programmes of the Grand Jury members with the aim of presenting their aesthetic and thematic preoccupations in the field of art and experimental film to the local audience.

Expanded Cinema performance programme marked by the festival’s vertiginous visit by Vector Hack and a trancelike performance by the Dutch audiovisual duo Lichun Tseng and Robert Kroos.
