The film begins with fleeting images of works by Caravaggio, Rembrandt, Van Gogh, Cézanne, Gris, Picasso, Mondrian and Kandinsky, but suddenly, drops of paint begin to fall; these soon turn into rivers of color that spill and blend, creating a living, moving abstract painting.
